Scottish Ice Hockey are delighted to welcome Craig Anderson on board as the Media Officer.
Craig has a wealth of experience within ice hockey media and joins the team, replacing Michael Black, who has served in the role since 2018.
And he is excited to be taking up his new role in helping promote the great work going on around the sport in Scotland.
“I want to thank Mike Stewart, John Colley and the board of Scottish Ice Hockey for this exciting opportunity and I’m joining at a great time,” he said.
“There are some great organisations in this country and I’m looking forward to helping spread the word about the wonderful work being done at grassroots level.
“The 2022-23 is a big one for ice hockey in Scotland and I can’t wait to meet everyone and get going in this new role.”

Craig is currently Media Officer with Glasgow Clan and has previously worked with the Elite League as a Media and Communications Officer for two and a half years.
He has also worked with Dundee Comets and as well as editor of the British Ice Hockey website, he also owned and ran his own website Slapshot Scotland.
SIH Chairman Mike Stewart welcomed Craig on board and thanked his predecessor Michael Black for his contribution in recent years.
“I want to thank Craig for accepting the role and after hearing his ideas, we’re looking forward to working with him,” he said.
“His experience and standing in the game was positive so felt he was the right man to take this role on and move it forward.
“To that end, I also want to thank Michael Black for his work in the last four years and wish him well for his future endeavours.
“Michael did an excellent job during some challenging times and his work is hugely appreciated by every one connected with Scottish Ice Hockey.”
